(Trip report in Spanish, please use a translator if you want) El año 2026, cuando escribo estas líneas, no pinta muy bien en cuanto a perspectivas bicheras o de viajes. Tras finalizar una etapa como herpetólogo profesional, muestreando por España para un proyecto ministerial (en Mayo del 2025) y lograr leer al fin mi tesis doctoral (en Septiembre de 2025), me encuentro en expectativa de ver qué hago con mi vida. Mientras espero a ver si encuentro alguna oportunidad en el poco agradecido...

In the early spring of 2024, I was presented with the opportunity to visit one of the last places in my country where I had never been, the archipelago of the Canary Islands.
